Summer Vacation: Let's Take A Break

Summer Vacation is the most beautiful month as well as a holiday month for the students as well as teachers. When, I was a student, after giving the unit test in the month of April, to be honest, I eagerly waited for the summer vacations not for the results because for the holidays, freedom, and enjoyment are everything.

There is no burden or tension for the goals and career of life. The summer holiday acts as a boosting month of boring life, as we can do lots of adventure and interesting activities and games in this month.

May to June is the month of summer holiday, also known as the hottest month of the year, with a high degree of temperature is the full month of holiday, after spending the first weak, the whole of my family books, and the train tickets for a visit to hill stations or grandparents’ house.

As everyone knows May-June are the most hottest months of the year, Ice cream, cold drinks, mango shakes, fruit shakes, watermelon and different types of juices are the things that I like most during my train journey, and without any doubt the windows seat is my favourite one, as I can see nature traveling along with us, Beautiful green trees, the whole blue sky, grain fields, and the birds shattering noise make everyone’s summer vacation adventure more wonderful. On the train, listening to songs with the help of earphones, playing board games with my cousins and family, also cracking jokes are some of the activities that we like to do most during journey.

Summer vacation is the most awaited time of the year in the lives of students. It gives them an opportunity to take a break from their daily routine, relax and enjoy their time with family and friends. Every year, students eagerly await their summer vacations with the hope of doing something worthwhile that liberates them from the monotonous and regular routine of school and studies. Most loveable and important thing in this vacation is no need to get up early in the morning, no studying, hence a break from the monotonous routine of day to day life.

There are many other things to do during summer vacation which maximum people do during this vacation such as
Visiting Grandparents

The first thing on the list in this summer vacation is visiting grandparents. Many grandparents stay in villages where people lives in town love to visit, where grandfather looks after the cultivation and selling of the products. On a personal note, I am very close to my grandparents and love their company and advice.

This vacation, on day one, I will start for my ancestral village to spend a couple of weeks with my grandparents. I had been able to visit them only during the summer vacations before and never get bored with the idea to visit again.

There is something fascinating about a village stay, that too in the company of lovely grandparents, showering you with love. The weather, the food, everything seems to improve in comparison to a city.

Meeting Old Friends

Another thing that I am excited about this summer vacation is that I would be meeting some old friends in my native village. I have plans for reviving a friendship that has been developed over years of companionship. Moreover, my friends in the village are very truthful and loyal. I will meet them, spend time with them, visit the fields, go to their home and meet their parents and whatnot.

Playing Traditional Games

Another plan that I have for this summer vacation is to play traditional village games with my village friends. Outdoor village games are more fun than pale or rather costly board games. Games like kho-kho, gilli-danda, and hide and seek have been entertaining the village children of India for centuries. I am more than excited to play these games with my friends in the village. I almost loose sense of time and could play these simple traditional games for hours. They not only make you happier but are also good for health.
