The K Pop music industry has taken the world by storm. With fans from around the globe, these bands have produced music that have touched the lives of millions of people globally. Their music has revolutionized international music standards and set the bar to an all new high. Here are some of the best boy bands in the K Pop industry:
BTS or BANGTAN BOYS:
BTS had to be number on our list. This is the most popular boy band out there. It is a seven-member band and the boys have been active since 2013.  The members are Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook. They are the first K-pop band to perform at the American Music Awards and to also win a Billboard Music Award, and the first South Korean act to reach 10 million followers on the social networking site Twitter. They blend dance-oriented K-pop with hip-hop influences. They also compose, produce, and write lyrics for their performances by themselves.
EXO:
Formed by SM Entertainment in 2011, the 12-member boy band made their debut in 2012. Back then they were separated into sub groups - EXO M and EXO K and performed music in Mandarin and Korean respectively. Korea Forbes named them the "most influential celebrity" for two consecutive years - 2014 and 2015. The band currently comprises nine members and they are Xiumin, Baekhyun, Suho, Lay, Chen, Chanyeol, Sehun, D.O., and Kai.
SEVENTEEN:
Despite its name being seventeen, the band consists of only 13 members. Seventeen formed in 2015 and was formed under Pledis Entertainment. The band is called Seventeen because the number signifies the age of the members when they first came together. The band is divided into three teams, each of them with a different area of specialization: vocal, hip-hop, and performance. They are also known to produce and compose their own music and dance moves. The members are S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino.
GOT7:
Got7 is a popular K-pop boy band formed by JYP Entertainment in 2014. The band consists of seven multinational members who come from the US, Thailand, South Korea, and Hong Kong, the members are JB, BamBam, Mark, Jackson, Yugyeom, Jinyoung, and Youngjae. The band first debuted at the beginning of 2014 with their mini-album called “Got It?”. The album was pretty popular and the band gained popularity pretty fast. Got7 was soon to be a household name. Their performances on stage often involve various street dancing techniques and various elements of martial art tricking, so if you're attending their concert, its definitely not going to be boring.
Wanna One:
Formed by CJ E&M, Wanna One was formed through the 2017 series Produce 101 Season 2. It is regarded as one of the most popular boy bands in the k pop industry. Wanna One had also been chosen as the Best New K-Pop Act of 2017. The band comprises eleven members - Yoon Ji-sung, Ha Sung-woon, Hwang Min-hyun, Ong Seong-wu, Kim Jae-hwan, Kang Daniel, Park Ji-hoon, Park Woo-jin, Bae Jin-young, Lee Dae-hwi, and Lai Guan-lin. Their electro pop music and highly stylized choreography garnered a lot of attention in the beginning and was a household name everywhere. The band members also focus on solo projects.
