It’s easy to make, tasty, fun and will surely suffice your evening hunger.
DISH NAME: BREAD MANCHURIAN
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
• WHITE/ BROWN BREAD – 3-4 SLICES
• 1 CUP SHREDDED CABBAGE
• ½ CUP FINELY CHOPPED CARROT
• 1 GREEN CHILLI
• 3 CLOVE FINELY CHOPPED GARLIC
• ½ TSP RED CHILLI POWDER
• 2 TBSP FINELY CHOPPED ONION
• 4 TBSP SPRING ONION CHOPPED (OPTIONAL)
• 1 TSP CHILLI SAUCE
• ½ TSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE
• 1 TBSP SOY SAUCE
• 2 TBSP TOMATO SAUCE
• ¼ CUP CORNSTARCH ( CORNFLOUR + WATER)
• ¼ TSP PEPPER POWDER
• ½ TSP SALT
• 1 TBSP VINEGAR
• ½ CUP CAPSICUM SLICED
• WATER
• REFINED OIL
* Pour out in a bowl and add (1 cup) cabbage, (1/2 cup) carrot, (1/2 tsp) chilli powder, (1 tsp) ginger garlic paste, corn flour (1/4th cup), salt (1/4th tsp), water (2 tbsp), and mix well.
* Mix while squeezing the cabbage and make a dough.
* Grease your hand with oil, and make small size balls out of the dough.
* Deep fry the balls in hot oil or preheat and bake @180 degree Celsius for 30 minutes.
* Stir them occasionally, until theu turn golden and crisp.
* After that take them out on a plate with a paper over it and let them dry.
* Meanwhile on other side, add 3-4 tbsp of refined oil in a pan, and add (3 clove) garlic, (1 slit) chilli and sauté them well.
* Next, add 2 tbsp of chopped spring onion, 2 tbsp of chopped onion, and again sauté them well.
* Add capsicum (1/4th sliced) to it and sauté again, but remember to not overcook them.
* Next add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1 tbsp chilli sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1/4th tsp pepper powder, ¼ th tsp salt to it and mix them well on high flame until the sauce thickens.
* After that add the cornstarch(1tsp), and mix them well till the sauce thickens and turns glossy.
* Add the previously cooked Manchurian balls in the sauce then, add 2 tbsp spring onion and then mix and coat well.
There you go, it’s ready to serve. Enjoy!
